Growing up in West Texas I never had to search far for inspiration. My Mom and Dad played music by my side from the moment they brought me into this world. By the time I was 15 years old I was playing lead guitar in smokey bars all over Lubbock. Barely 18 years old I moved from Lubbock to Los Angeles and spent most of my early years playing lead guitar in rock bands. I moved to Austin, Tx in 1994 and slowly started finding my way back to my roots. My debut cd "corners of my mind" shares influences from country, blues, folk and rock and showcases raw emotional lyrics along with melodic guitar. I hope my songs connect with people from many different genres along with fans of country, americana and folk.
